I bought these beautiful ranunculus this past week with the hopes of painting over Thanksgiving weekend. I bought this mug from Anthropologie, just fell in love with it. I kept arranging the flowers in all sorts of vases but finally settled on this mug - with a persimmon. Here is a close up view of my oil painting in progress.
My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary in France. We had a lovely salad at an outdoor cafe with greens, rice, artichoke hearts, and hearts of palm with a vinaigrette. Thirty plus years later I am still making that salad. Thought I would recycle the can....
